The site was discovered by chance in 1986. More than 1000 bronze, gold, and jade artifacts are in display. These discoveries have stunned the world . These newly unearthed massive ancient relics have aroused scholarly interest since 1997. The discovery reveals an unrecorded civilization dating back 3000-5000 years. This ancient civilization proves remarkably high level of sophistication and advance in bronze casting technology. The most striking finds are large bronze masks and bronze heads with gold foil masks. This period of civilization mysteriously vanished without historical record.
